I also know there's some setting deep in general preferences somewhere that's like 'Disable plugins when low latency' or something. Or it just doesn't help if it doesn't turn the autotune off. I've been using Logic for years and I do toggle the LowLatency monitoring control on a custom template I have, but that turns the autotune off sometimes. Is there some way to optimize logic for this? I wonder if I'm missing a setting or something. I know autotune slows things down considerably but cmon. Like to me that doesn't seem like it should be that RAM draining.
Like I want to be able to use Antares Auto Tune + CLA2A and or 1176 and some sends like just a plate verb and a delay or two on the monitor mix. It was just like a basic rap session but I was dealing with serious latency issues.
So I was doing a session this weekend and I just have an M1 Macbook (which I bought specifically because I was told that it would help latency issues), PreSonus 44vsl simple audio interface, and a mic.
